Payment Policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
1. Overview
This Payment Policy outlines the terms and conditions for purchasing credits on the Cobalt platform operated by MARKETRONIX LTD. By making a purchase, you agree to these payment terms.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Visa credit and debit cards
- Mastercard credit and debit cards
All card payments are handled by our PCI-DSS compliant card-payment processor. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
Card payments are not open yet. The checkout form is shown so you can see what it will ask for, but its Pay button stays disabled and no card can be charged until card payments open at launch.
3. Credit Pricing
Credits are bought as a top-up of any amount you choose. There are no packs, tiers or bonuses: one credit is one Euro, whatever you add. Prices can change; a change never affects an order already placed or credits already bought. Prices are shown, and payments are processed, in the currency you choose: Euro (EUR) or US dollars (USD). The amount displayed is the amount charged. A single top-up can be any amount from 1 to 20,000 in the currency you choose (€1–€20,000 or $1–$20,000).
4. Payment Processing
When you purchase credits, your payment is processed immediately. Once it is authorised, the credits are added to your balance and the order, with its receipt, appears on your Orders page.
5. Failed Payments
If a payment fails, no credits will be added to your account. Common reasons for payment failure include:
- Insufficient funds
- Incorrect card details
- Card declined by issuing bank
- Security or fraud prevention measures
You may retry the payment or contact your card issuer for assistance. If problems persist, contact our support at support@cobalt.boutique.
6. Currency
You pay in the currency you choose, Euro (EUR) or US dollars (USD), from the switch in the site header. Every price shown is the amount your card will be debited in that currency, and refunds are made in the currency you paid in. One credit is one Euro, with no bonus on any amount; the credits a dollar top-up buys use that day's European Central Bank reference rate.
If your card is denominated in a currency other than the one you paid in, your bank or card issuer will convert the amount using their own exchange rate, and the sum debited in your own currency may therefore differ from the figure shown. That conversion is between you and your issuer: we are not responsible for their exchange rate or for any currency conversion or cross-border fees they charge.
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
We place no restriction on your right to dispute a charge with your card issuer, and disputing a charge in good faith is never grounds for suspending your account. We encourage you to contact us first at support@cobalt.boutique — we can usually resolve a billing concern faster than a chargeback — but you are always free to go straight to your bank instead. Accounts used for confirmed payment fraud (not a good-faith billing dispute) may be suspended or terminated.
8. Billing Information
You are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date billing information. Transaction records and receipts are available in your account dashboard. For billing inquiries, contact support@cobalt.boutique.
9. Security
We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your payment information. However, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Never share your password or account access with others.
10. Delivery and Card Data
Everything we sell is delivered digitally. No physical goods are shipped, there are no delivery or packaging charges, and there is no shipping address to give. Credits appear on your balance as soon as the payment is authorised, normally within seconds; if they have not appeared within an hour, contact support and we will either credit the account or refund the payment.
Card data security: your card number, expiry and CVV are submitted over TLS and passed directly to our card-payment processor, which is PCI-DSS compliant and performs 3-D Secure authentication. We never see, store or log your card number, expiry or CVV. Our own records of a payment are the order, its amount and currency, the payment provider's reference and whether the payment succeeded. Our anti-money-laundering and customer-identification measures are set out in our AML & KYC Policy.
